Male Opistophthalmus latro (Peninsular Burrowing Scorpion) from from Cape Columbine NR

A species that is only found in the area of the West Coast Peninsula where they burrow in the soft sands close to the coast. They are closely related to O. capensis (Cape Burrowing Scorpion) but are distinguishable by the lack of lighter stripes on the tergites and having a much darker colour overall than capensis.
