Hadogenes minor (Little Rock Scorpion) from Piketberg

A common species found throughout the Cederberg and some neighbouring mountain ranges. They were recognised as the smallest Hadogenes species until H. weygoldti was described in 2018.

Hadogenes minor (Western Rock Scorpion) from Piketberg. One of the easier species to find in the Western Cape.

Scorpions from the Hadogenes genus are harmless and their sting might itch a bit or you might not even feel anything.
